Dr. Brittanni N. Wright is a public health researcher whose work focuses on the sexual and reproductive health of people living with chronic diseases and chronic illness. Currently, her work focuses on the sexual and reproductive health of people living with sickle cell disease.

Brittanni received her PhD and Master of Public Health from Indiana University-Bloomington. Additionally, she received a Master of Divinity from Emory University.  Her most treasured work experience is the time she spent as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana, West Africa. As a current Health Disparities Research Scholar, Brittanni looks forward to a career in research to help answer questions around the reproductive and sexual health of people living with chronic diseases and illnesses.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

As a child, I wanted to be a UPS or FedEx truck driver because I thought it was so cool that they were able to drive with their door open!

What do you collect?

I like to collect Winnie the Pooh figurines.

What is your favorite hobby or pastime?

My favorite hobbies are reading and traveling!
