Biography
Taehyun is a health services researcher with a topical expertise in reproductive health policy and access. She studies the impacts of policy intervention on reproductive health access and related outcomes, including Medicaid abortion coverage and contraceptive access initiatives. At REAL, she collaborates on the analyses of RHEA survey, including examining the changes in reproductive decision-making following Dobbs.

• What is your special talent?
After killing many plants, I seem to have finally figured out how to revive sick ones! My biggest success so far is my four-year-old lemon tree that had lost all of its leaves after a spider mite infestation but recently sprouted a whole flush of new ones.
• What is your favorite thing to nerd out about?
Watching figure skating competitions has been my perennial rabbit hole, ever since my childhood. I also enjoy following women’s team sports, although the sport I obsess over changes from time to time. Right now, it’s women’s baseball.
