Effects of Birth Cost Recovery on Black Families in Wisconsin

Birth Cost Recovery (BCR) is a Wisconsin policy that requires some unmarried, non-custodial fathers to pay back Medicaid-covered labor & delivery costs. We are conducting a community-engaged study to better understand how BCR impacts Black families.
